What changed
- A redesigned workspace with task boards and lists, compact navigation and more room for the conversation.
- Conversations side by side, with separate task windows in the desktop app.
- Plans, permissions, file review and applying accepted changes stay connected to the same task.
- Agent connections, provider limits and team work fit into the same workspace.
Your projects, with room to work
VECTA 1.0 gives the work a new layout. Projects, Cloud and automations have compact screens, shared menus and consistent typography. The conversation has more room, and the model picker works the same way across the workspace.
Use the board to follow tasks by state, or switch to the list when you want to scan their descriptions. Open the project you need, pick up an existing conversation and keep its context. Finished tasks can move to the archive and return when you need them again.
Keep several conversations in view
Open conversations beside each other to follow one task while another agent works. The focused view keeps a single conversation close; the parallel view gives related work its own space.
On desktop, a task can open in its own window with its history and unsent draft. Return it to the workspace when you need the full task controls. Moving the conversation waits for the destination window to be ready before clearing the original draft.
From the plan to the changes you accept
Task plans show connected steps, recorded progress and time. Questions and approval requests sit with the work they concern, so you can see what the agent needs before deciding how to continue.
Review changed files side by side and ask for another pass in the same conversation. For local project work, create a commit with the changes you accept and apply them back to the project. The answer’s elapsed time follows that answer; reviewing or applying it later no longer makes it look longer.
Choose an agent with the information you need
The connections screen brings together your CLI agents, compatible model endpoints and custom MCP services. Each connection still needs its own setup and permissions. The task uses the tools its selected connection actually supports.
The limits screen also links to official usage guidance for Antigravity and TRAE. These products are not connected VECTA agents. Missing quota data stays unknown. Cloud model details show reported token prices, context and output limits, together with their source and the date checked.
Cloud work you can return to
Create a Cloud project, choose a model and continue in the same conversation as the task develops. Open the project files to inspect, copy or download the result, then ask for the next change without starting over.
Check the capabilities and allowance shown for your Cloud connection before starting. Command and browser access depend on the available Cloud profile. Signing in across several tabs now reuses a renewed session before requesting another renewal.
People and agents can share the work
VECTA Team brings shared conversations, workspace roles and a pool of connected machines into the same workflow. See who wrote a message, who is leading the task and which questions are waiting for the team. A task can use a suitable free machine or wait in its queue.
For supported local connections, an agent can propose helpers for separate assignments. Review the assignments before starting them and follow their conversations alongside the parent task. Their changes remain yours to review and accept.
Start with the task in front of you
This release covers Windows, Linux, the web workspace and the account pages. Update the desktop app or open the web workspace, choose a project and continue a task. macOS delivery is separate from this release.
