Understand what your agents cost
Connect reported spending to individual tasks and projects instead of reading an unexplained total.
Start with the task
Open usage beside the task to inspect available cost, token and elapsed-time data. The workspace usage view brings task entries together with project and agent context, so you can find the work behind the number. Task totals can span several agents; the current connection is not a cost breakdown.
Keep unknown values visible
Different agent connections report different fields. A missing cost is unknown, not free. VECTA shows reported coverage; do not compare a partially reported total with a fully reported one as if they were equivalent.
Separate usage from billing
Task usage helps you manage work. It is not a replacement for the provider’s invoice or subscription allowance. Compare similar tasks and account for corrections and review before judging value.
