Local project or Cloud workspace?

Choose where files and tools live separately from the model that helps you.

Keep an existing project local

Use a connected computer when the work needs your existing repository, installed tools or local development environment. With VECTA Auto on a supported computer, the model can be remote while file and terminal tools run on that computer.

Start in a Cloud workspace

Use a hosted VECTA Cloud task to begin in the browser without keeping a personal computer online. The conversation and created files belong to that remote workspace; your existing local folder is not automatically uploaded.

Check both choices

Before starting, check the selected project, execution computer and model connection. Model location and file location are separate decisions. Available tools and account limits depend on the selected mode.
