Answer approval requests

Keep decisions beside the work they affect.

An approval is a decision about an action, not a request to repeat the entire task. Reply in the task so the decision remains attached to its history.

Step by step

  1. Open the task marked as needing your answer.

  2. Read the requested action and its scope before approving.

  3. Choose Allow once for a single action, or decline if the request does not match the task.

  4. Where offered, a task-scoped browser permission applies only to the described action within this task. Review its scope before choosing it.
