OpenRouter and API providers
Run API-backed tasks from a connected computer.
The provider supplies model responses; the connected computer reads and edits project files with approval before changes. This API connection does not support terminal commands, browser tools or images yet. It does not install a coding agent.
Step by step
Open AI → API models → Connect provider. Choose an online computer you own with workspace control enabled, then OpenRouter or a compatible API.
Enter your API key in the provider’s credential field, not in a task message.
Choose that provider and a model in New task, with the computer that holds your project.
Start with a small task and check both its result and reported usage.
